Cofafer is an iron replacement product that is used to treat iron deficiency, such as anemia (not enough iron in the blood) or blood loss in patients with certain conditions (eg, hemophilia, gastrointestinal bleeding).

 

Iron is a mineral that the body needs to produce red blood cells. When the body does not get enough iron, it cannot produce the number of normal red blood cells needed to keep you in good health. This condition is called iron deficiency (iron shortage) or iron deficiency anemia.

Cofafer is to be given only by or under the direct supervision of your doctor.

Cofafer is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency in the following

Indications: When oral iron preparations cannot be used, e.g. due to intolerance, or in case of demonstrated lack of effect of oral iron therapy.

Where there is a clinical need to deliver iron rapidly to iron stores. The diagnosis of iron deficiency must be based on appropriate laboratory tests (e.g. Serum ferritin, serum iron, transferrin saturation and hypochromic red cells e mineral alpharabi It is used in Cattle, Horses, Calves, Sheep and Goat in the following cases Infertility caused by deficiencies, changes of the oestrus cycle due to the unidentified causes and asymptomatic infertility.
– For Silent Oestrus: For better results, combination with E-Selenium and Bison Alpharabi.
– Poorly developed and inactive ovaries, acceleration of follicle ruptures and chronic vaginitis.
– Ovarian malfunction, ovarian cysts, changes in uterine tone and failure to release an ovum.
– Prophylactic administration in pregnant animals to prevent abortion.
– Iodine deficiencies such as delayed puberty, prolongation of gestation periods, and delivery of dead or weak fetuses, hairless calves and goiters.
– Reduced libido, poor testicular development, reduced sperm production and delayed maturation of sperms.
– Metabolic disturbances, deficiency diseases, disturbance of normal bone growth, swollen painful joint and less haemoglobin. Additional treatment in cases of calving paralysis and parturient paresis.
