Equipalazone 200 mg/ml Solution contains injectable phenylbutazone, an anti-inflammatory and analgesic medicine (pain relief). It is a member of the NSAID family (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and is used to treat lameness in horses, for example, due to acute and chronic laminitis, osteoarthritis, bursitis, and carpitis. It can also be used after surgery to relieve soft tissue swelling. It is also antipyretic (reduces fever). It works by preventing the body from synthesizing prostaglandins that relieve pain and cause inflammatory processes and pyrogens (substances that cause fever).

Equipalazon 200 mg/ml solution for injection is indicated for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders in horses and ponies with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that reduce inflammation, pain and stiffness. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or duration of treatment. Do not administer simultaneously or within 24 hours after other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory products. Not for use in animals suffering from heart, liver or kidney diseases; where there is a possibility of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding; if there are indications of blood dyscrasia or sensitivity to the product.
